location is great - we walked from the hotel to the downtown duomo every day BUT this hotel has a shuttle that runs quite frequently (free) from hotel to the train station, if you want to save some distance. Staff friendly, Great dining recommendations. Hotel was a little difficult to find when driving. Una Hotel Vittoria is located on the other side of the Arno, in the Oltrarno quarter. It's off via Pisana, like a private house. It's a very nice building with a terrace where you could drink or eat something. It's about 25 minutes walking from the duomo, but there's also a bus station (N°6) about 200 meters from the hotel.... more

There wasn't any good public transportation close to the hotel and it was a bit of a walk to the city center and the train station. The rooms were small, even the upgraded ones. The airconditioning didn't work very well! Breakfast was good though. more
