Recently stayed a night at the Hotel Adler Cavalieri, if you are arriving in Florence by train this hotel is ideally situated - no more than 5 mins walk from the station. Although the street is nothing extraordinary, the hotel itself is extremely comfortable, rooms are large and the bathrooms came with lots of freebies. The reception staff were efficient.... more

The Adler Cavalieri was a nice hotel in downtown Florence, very close to the train station. It was only a 10-15 minute walk from most of the major tourist attractions. Wireless internet in the room was convenient and the continental breakfast was quite good. Would recommend this hotel. more

I was extremely disappointed considering this was a 4 star hotel. Beds were as hard as planks, tv's were tubes from the 60's, and the shower in the original room we were given was terrible. This is a very nice hotel only 10-15 minutes walk into the city centre and very close to the train station. The area is the best but it isn't that bad either. The problem we had was that parking at the hotel costs 20 euro per day. We had to change our plans so that we made a better use... more

We stayed in florence for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay..The hotel is within walking distance to all the sights and the train station which was very convenient. Very nice hotel, situated in downtown Florence. All the main sites are within walking distance (for normal healthy persons). Hotel has on-site parking available(22€ p.day), however you have to request space with the booking. The rooms are tidy, spacious, with a large bathroom and sufficient waterpressure available. This hotel is nice. It's very close to the train station, so it's perfect for anyone travelling by train. We had 2 rooms - our first one had a TINY bathroom. Second one was much better.
