I just finished a four night stay at B&B Novecento and I can honestly say that it greatly exceeded my expectations. The location is great; right off of the piazza del duomo. The couple that runs the bed and breakfast are two of the nicest and most genuine people that I have ever met. They would always make sure that... More

Excellent location for seeing the old city in Florence, you can hear the bells from the Duomo! Close to the train and airport bus. Everything is within easy walking distance. Very clean, great beds, beautiful rooms. Such lovely, welcoming hosts, who will go out of their way to assist you and help you plan your days here- and carry your... More

I loved each day at this tiny yet beautiful b&b . It's a stone's throw away from the duomo - and everything else - museums to David to eateries to shopping - it's all there ..u must must - get yourself a good book and get yourself to the terrace of novecento - it overlooks the dome and the little... We were there for 4 nights, same breakfast, but good. The rooms are clean but like I say they on the 4 floor. Close to every thing. Recommended 2 good restaurants and the best gelato place in Italy. Thank You Franco and Sawako

I've travelled through Florence many times and have now found the perfect B&B and a place that I will always stay at when visiting Florence. Franco and Sawako are the most charming proprietors and their rooftop patio is ideal! I'm sending many of my friends to your B&B and they're really excited! Thank you, Franco and Sawako for a lovely... More

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this lovely little B&B right in the centre of Florence. Franco and his wife were very welcoming and friendly, even helping get us tickets for the Uffizi to avoid the queues. It was like a home from home during our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed extrememly comfortable (I'm... More

Sawako and Franco are wonderful proprietors of this warm and inviting bed and breakfast, right in the middle of everything you want to see and do in Florence. The rooms - and I say 'rooms' because I originally booked only two nights but ended up needing to stay an additional two, which was instantly accommodated with a change into a... More

My son already wrote a favourable review following our stay at the Novecento in early October- see “Fantastic location and great hospitality” (with the story of the large bike box). I just wanted to confirm that my wife and I agree with everything he wrote, and I wanted to add that I even looked forward to having breakfast every morning... More

I stayed at the Novecento while visiting Firenze with my parents at the beginning of October. We'd showed up with me hauling a very large bicycle box, which isn't ideal for a 3rd floor B&B in a 500 year old building, but from the initial encounter both Franco and Sawako were welcoming and happy to help find a temporary storage... This little B&B is located a short distance from the side of the Duomo, so the location is very good. It is also affordable given the prices in Florence. The owner and his girl friend are very friendly and welcoming, and happy to provide recommendations and other information you might want about the city. The main drawback, for me at... More
