The hill....many reviews talked about the hill that this sat atop. Nobody described it accurately. You either need a car, or be prepared to walk up VERY steep switchbacks for about a mile with your bags. The Hotel Villa Ambrosina is a lovely , warm and friendly hotel and staff on a hill overlooking the Chianti region. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was large, nicely decorated.
