My sister and I spent a week at Florence Old Bridge while we toured the city. We were traveling on a modest budget and I was expecting nothing more from our accommodations than a clean, safe environment. What a terrific suprise! Yes, the room was immaculate and secure but there is so much more at the Old Bridge. First off,... more

Stayed 2 nights. Old Bridge is located accross the street from main hotel. Upon arrival Toilet was not cleaned and took repeated requests to resolve, no phone in room to contact front desk, hair dryer not in room had to request, although breakfast was not included management offered it as a consolationto the room issues. Not worth it coffe out... more

This site is ideal for touring Florence. It is on the same street and only one block away from Ponte Vecchia and one block from Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens in the other direction. All the ‘sites of Florence’ are within a 15 minute walk but if arriving by bus or train, I recommend you take a taxi instead... more

The florence old bridge is a second-rate hotel that is somewhat of a sub-operation to another hotel (the name escapes me). Check-in is across the street from where you stay, and I would have never found it if the maid hadnt been nearby the rooms. The front desk staff is not entirely helpful, and as a guest at the old... more

I booked Florence Old bridge after considerable research on the Internet, unfortunately it would seem not enough. The only good thing about this 'hotel' is its location. In NO way did the room we were given resemble those shown on the' net. I had booked this in good faith and was sorely disappointed. Initially after locating the place with some... more

Florence Old Bridge was a great value and location. My wife and I stayed there as part of our honeymoon trip through Italy and was able to walk to everywhere we needed to go from here. Its litterally 2 blocks from the Ponte Vechio and while cozy it is all that we needed. The reception is located accross the road... more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Florence Old Bridge, and we loved the location. It was only a few minutes to the Ponte Vecchio, and all of the major attractions were well within a reasonable walking distance. The reception staff was friendly and the room itself was clean, quiet, and safe, with excellent air conditioning. The only... more

The B&B (hotel) is located meters from the Ponte Vecchio in Oltrano. While this sounds good it means at least a 15 minute walk through old Florence from the train station. This is ok if you are travelling light like we do but not great if you are hauling a lot of luggage or small kids. This feels more like... more

Excellent score: location, free internet Average score for: room size; price ; bathroom; hotel reception across the street at La Scaletta Slightly below average: one of the reception staff- pretty, young Italian speaking lass was on the anxious, nervy, unsmiling side but not nasty at all. But when you are in Italy, you get used to very warm hosts, so... more

My wife and I stayed at Florence Old Bridge for two nights ( December 27-29). I liked the location where hotel is situated. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was kind and helpful. We will return to it in the future. more
