We stayed here 1 night in July 08. It is 10-15 minutes out from the city center so if you're looking for something close, then this is not the place for you. It's too far to walk. This 4 year old property has some impressive finishes and views, however, the hotel has started having major A/C issues. The rooms are modern and very comfortable and the hotel staff was helpful throughout our stay; they helped us with restaurant and museum reservations. This is a lovely hotel with the best service possible. Everyone was so helpful and made excellent recommendations on excursions, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the heart of Florence and a frequent, free shuttle was provided. more

Just returned from the beautiful city of Florence, staying at the Florence Hilton Metropole. It's a nice place with comfortable rooms & a very helpful staff. Amenities are what you would expect from a Hilton, plus a little more. The only problem is the distance from town. They have a free shuttle, but the last departure is at 8 PM.... more
