Location of the apartment is good, 10 min walk to Duomo or Uffizi. Bed was comfortable.
We had a few problems though. The AC did not cool at all the first night, so we complained and then the gas in the AC was refilled, after which it worked fine. The flooring is very old and dirty. There was no shower curtain initially and the water flowed out of the bathroom. (The bathroom has a jacuzzi shower.) There is no washing machine in the apartment, it is in the basement and you have to pay to use it.
The entrance is nowhere as nice as it appears in the photo. It is actually quite dark and dated.
For the same price, you can find better accommodation. We did not have many options because, coincidentally, a fashion event was being held in Florence during the period of our stay, so most of the accommodations recommended on TA were fully booked. more
