The trip advisor profile for this lovely little apartment style bed and breakfast is very misleading. MartinDago is now in a new location, and clearly much improved when you compare recent reviews with older ones. It's ideally located, just a 5-10 minute from all you can see in a long weekend, very clean and airy and tastefully decorated, with lots... More

I definitely recommend staying here for a few nights. The rooms are very spacious as is the shower. Gabrielle really makes you feel at home in his house. The breakfast is held in his own dining room which is adorned with copies of classical statues and has a fresco on the ceiling. It is extremely fresh and delicious. The location... More

Gabriele makes you feel so welcome, you are sure you have just come home. His new location is very close to the best of Florence. I had a lovely room with a private bath, all very clean. The B&B is also very quiet. There is a mixture of spaces - some bedrooms with private bath and others shared. Gabriele is... More

Gorgeous building. Perfect location. Warm and inviting host. A new location with a wonderfully classic Tuscan feel. Gabriele is so wonderful. Would recommend to anyone who likes B&Bs. The bad reviews on here are from the old building and are obviously from people who were expecting hotel accommodations. Again - perfect location, host and price. And tempurpedic beds!

The hotel location is nice - not far from the very center (10min walk) and near to couple other attractions, with good surroundings. The good bar is 20m from the hotel door. At the same time the windows in the room are good enough to isolate you in the night from the noise on the street and bar at the... More

This B&B is right out of the 1960s. It is old, dirty, dusty, trashy and dilapidated. I would never ever stay there again. The so-called "breakfast" consisted of tepid coffee, old rolls or croissants with butter and jam. That's it! The bed was awful, the shower worse, and the little sitting room so crowded with old and dusty furniture as... More

We were only going to stay two nights but the location and great room persuaded us to extend for another day. The room is wonderful with space, light, a great bed, air conditioning and a very charming and wonderful host Gabriele. The rooms are near a market and a long pedestrian street. The only disadvantage of the hotel was finding... More

It's difficult to rate this b&b, because it's very different from all other places I've stayed at before. The location is nice and within walking distance to everything in the amazing historic centre of Florence. Our beautiful room "Amanda" was facing the church and square, which was quite a lively gathering spot for locals and tourists after sunset, so you... More

Reading the other reviews I wonder if this is the same B&B we stayed. We selected the MartinDago B&B based on those reviews and the photo's we saw on the website. It's a shame I can't publish more photo's here that we took of the room (falka) where we stayed. It is surely not the same quality anymore as the... More

This is an excellent B&B. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Gabriele is a wonderful host. Great location; very close to all the popular places to visit in Florence.
