As others have said, it is a great place to stay. The place itself and the location easily met our high expectations, but the superb and helpful service from Valentina and Costanza and the maids (who gave us the cleanest and well cared for apartment/hotel room that we have ever come across) was an unexpected highlight. more

The location of Residence Hilda was absolutely perfect--only 3 blocks from the Duomo and within walking distance of many of Florence's must-see attractions, i.e., the Accademia Gallery which houses Michelangelo's David, the Uffizi Gallery, etc. The roomy suite included a kitchenette, and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I most certainly would recommend it to fellow travelers. more
