We booked this hotel at the last minute as we nearly opted for one just outside the Just outside the city centre, we were so glad we didn’t. The welcome we received was charming and our poor Italian wasn’t a problem – something that can be said for most of the tourist filled city. The room, while not huge was... more

Spent 2 nights at this fantastic hotel in June for my mums 60th, the hotel is 5minutes away from the main train station in a taxi or a 15 min walk. The hotel is in a excellent location at the end of the Ponte Vecchio brigde right in the center of Florence. The staff at the hotel are very helpful... more

We stayed at the Vivahotel Pitti Palace Hotel, Florence for a long weekend in April 2008. We got a very good deal with Expedia which included flights. It was a great choice as the location was just off the Ponte Vecchio, just perfect for sightseeing – very central. Check-in was really good. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.... more

It is clean and comfortable and the staff, during our stay, were extremely helpful, from where the tour bus starts to where is there a good restaurant , to organising... more

The room was ok in size, with a v ery big bed, and everything was very clean, tidy, well decorated and in working order. The... more

Pitti Palace is an ancient building that has been converted into a hotel. It is located exactly at the south end of the Ponte de Vecchio, which makes it a perfect place to be whether you want to explore the less touristy side of the ARno River, or take the brief walk across the bustling bridge to the North side... more
