We just came home from our second visit to the Villa Baldasseroni! Both visits were undescribable! Michael and Alessandra are really wonderful people and they make you feel at home. The house is so beautiful, with the swimming pool and the garden and the cute turtles walking around the patio. The house is everything you could expect from a luxury... More

We recently stayed in beautiful Villa Baldasseroni - we had an amazing time!!. We already loved "the look" of the villa when we found and studied :) the website, but we were very impressed with the actual spaciousness and "the feel" of the place when we arrived! It was very nice to meet Michael and Alessandra who were very helpful... More

We have just come back from a fantastic week at villa baldasseroni. We stayed in the main apartment and took our two kids with us - aged 2ys and 8 months. We also went with some friends that have a 2 year old and 3 month old. The villa is brilliant and is just as it appears on the website.... More

Michael and Alessandra are wonderful, and they really went out of their way to make us feel at home - driving us to the store for groceries our first night so we'd know where the grocery store is, making dinner reservations, and inviting us into their home for pre-dinner drinks and conversation. They are absolutely wonderful, the villa is historic... More

Our family (6 people, 2 kids and grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Baldasseroni. The accomodations were a perfect fit. We had lots of space to either sit quietly and read or be all together enjoying a meal. The grounds were spectacular and after a hot day touring the countryside the pool was an extra special feature that we... More

My family of nine (including two small children) enjoyed wonderful hospitality by Michael and Alessandra Griffiths in their remarkable 14th century luxury villa. If you're looking for "authentic Tuscany" this is it....A bit isolated (40 minutes from Florence) a car would be nice. However, Michael arranged taxis and private limos for us to local restaurants (SUPERB) and to Florence. The... More

My wife and I wanted to "live" in Tuscany to enjoy the Italian life style. We were fortunate to have excellent weather in May and found our perfect home, the charming Villa Alzato Baldasseroni, located in Lucignano, near San Casciano di Pesa. The villa is a charming, comfortable, and interesting place with much history. We visited the local outdoor markets... More

This was our second trip to Villa Balbasseroni with family and was a wonderful week in Tuscany. This time we stayed in the Main Apartment, the additional space with 6 adults was welcome. The Villa is shabby chic - at times more shabby than chic - but it is a beautiful property perfectly situated within a short drive of most... More

Our family of myself, husband, two children aged 11 and 8 and Grandma are just returned from a magical week at Villa Baldasseroni. We stayed in the less formal though still lovely Granary apartment. The villa is evocative of EM Forster's "A Room with a View" and if you are searching for a taste of not only authentic Tuscany but also... More
