The location iis amazing and the views fabulous. The hotel looks stunning but the rooms were extremely small. It was difficult to get room service/drinks from the bar/restaurant on occasions as well. This isn't great when you just arrive and would like some refreshments. more
The pictures on Tripadvisor were helpful, but did not do justice to the actual place. It can be difficult to find, but it is well worth the trouble. The staff were extremely helpful and we felt very welcome. The local bus number 7 picks you up right in front of the hotel and drops you off right in front of the train station in the heart of Florence. It took about 15 minutes and can be a very fun ride. more
