Apart from taxi driver from Pisa airport getting terribly lost on arriving in Lucca, the hotel is situated in a superb location in side street, which leads to main streets of the centre. This delightful 12th century building was restored with 21st century amenities and sumptuous "old world" charm. The rooms were very clean and moderate sized. The housekeeping service was great. However, the highlight of the stay was the superb staff; they were extremely helpful and pleasant. They treated every guest like royalty.
