We spent 6 nights at Il Picchio. What a wonderful experience! Linda and Gorden were so very amazing in their care and concern for us. Their home is lovely and the setting superb. We urge anyone traveling to the region to stay at Il Picchio. Linda and Gordon will take very good care of you!

I stayed for 2 weeks at Il Picchio.It was wonderful,quiet and with a large clean room with everything of the best quality.It was very hot during my stay but no problem sleeping. We stayed 3 nights in this wonderful, quiet b&b and wished it could have been longer. The room was large and beautifully furnished. The bed linens were of the hightest qualilty and Linda and Gordon provided thoughtful touches - water carafes on each bedside table, lovely soaps in the bathroom. “Simple Excellence!”

What a welcome! What a lovely place! The place is small and friendly, with excellent homely facilities. All the touches that make a stay that extra bit special. The breakfast was delightful with nothing being too much trouble! Highly recommend a visit to this bed and breakfast in the heart of Tuscany

A truly wonderful place to stay. Linda and Gordon are marvellous hosts and couldn't do enough for us. They collected myself and a friend from Pisa airport and did they same the next day for my sister.
