The hotel itself is delightful - lovely rooms, beautifully furnished and a nice bathroom. The breakfast room is very pretty and if you are lucky you can sit in the little sun porch! Cute little hotel just 5 or so minutes outside the city walls of Lucca. Plenty of parking, nice breakfast and very good staff. Reasonable price as well. Only issues is that the room while immaculate was a bt small and the walk into the city is a bit dull. No noise issues while we were there. Would definitely recommend. more

We spent 2 wonderful nights at the Villa Romantica. Location is just outside the city walls and 5 minutes walk into the centre. The hotel staff were magnificent. So helpful, friendly and warm. This is a family run hotel which is clean & friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We can't wait to return! more

We stayed here for two nights at the end of September in the 'Four Poster Suite' which is on the first floor overlooking the footie stadium. Very nice property but the sound of sirens will drive you crazy. Hotel is very clean and our room very nice but the sound of ambulances going all night ensured very little sleep.
