Within ten minutes' walking distance of the city walls, Tangohotel is a friendly, economical, private alternative to an expensive, impersonal, stuffy hotel. The building is sturdy, clean, well-maintained, and functional. The owners are helpful and knowledgeable. This is my second stay at Tangohotel, and I wouldn't dream of staying at any other place in Lucca!

The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful and the room, although on the smaller side, had a lovely large bathroom. Decorated well and a great location for walking into Lucca.

We did enjoy our stay here. It's a lovely old restored character house done up very tastefully and artistically.
