I stayed at the Gronch about a year ago. While it was reasonably priced for it's locale, the bathrooms which are communal were very smelly and often times the toilets did not flush properly. The rooms and overall building architecture is reminiciant of a early palace and could be re-done to reflect what the original architect had in mind. It has fallen into some disrepair unfortunately. The price and location are of course the main reasons to stay here but check the bathrooms first!
