After a holiday in Tuscany, we had a red-eye flight out of Pisa and so had to stay overnight in town. The Bologna Hotel was well priced and central, but most importantly had a triple room. We have a 3 year old and a baby and the Bologna had no trouble accommodating us. In fact the cot was one of... more

My wife, daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Bologna. The rooms were spacious and modern. The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect - close to the tower, train station, airport and city centre. Very good value and great breakfast. more

I arrived in Pisa on my own, very tired, after a long journey, and frustrated from not being able to print out my ryanair boading pass anywhere. I've been in Pisa several times before, so I walked from the train station. It is an easy walk, but the area immediately around the station is pretty grotty. Even though, it was... more

We stayed that hotel for 3 days after we came back from rome. its a very nice hotel. its located close to the train station so we decided to walk the way which would of taken us 5 minutes but we got lost. nevermind...lol the hotel is very nice decorated, great breakfast room and our room was nice as well.... more

The room was small, had no real window and most of all was very very noisy. I had very little sleep due to the contact noise from the people above, leaving early for a flight I presumed, or having to listen to the man next door going to the loo! Breakfast was not great either, although the section was large... more

I booked a single room for two nights in May. On arriving I found the receptionists were able to speak good English and were polite and helpful in answering my questions. A member of staff escorted me to my room which was situated in the building at the back of the hotel and overlooked the terrace. I found the room... more

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for just one night at the beginning of June - to be honest one night in Pisa is enough, apart from the tower and cathedral there really isn't anything else to do! I am sorry to hear about the the tiny rooms that others have encountered - I found it difficult to... more

The twin room had beds that run head to toe down one wall and it was more like a gully kitchen than a twin bedroom. When i asked if i could change my room as i had no room to unpack i was told i could pay that we could each pay extra for a single room!!!! It seemed a... more

We stayed at Hotel Bologna for two nights on our honeymoon. The room was very large and very clean. We must have had a smoking room because the stench of smoke was horrible. We didn't complain because we weren't in Pisa to hang out in the room. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. They have eggs, bacon,... more

We booked a twin room and i have never seen a 'twin' room so small. The beds were touching each other and the walls. There was no room for us or our suitcases. We did complain but they were very rude and would only offer us 2 singles for much more money.!!!! Not all the rooms were as small as... more

Management response from
hotelbolognapisa, Marketing Director

Understanding that customer preferences may differ from person to person we offered the client to switch into 2 single room for only 65 € per room (where singles in Pisa in 4-star-establishments are around 90-100 €) Furhtermore we provided free Shuttle-Service (instead of 12€). Considering this I am sure we offered fair value for money. Best regards Hotel Bologna
