Our week at Tasty Tuscany was way too short. Patrizia and Paolo have a way of making you feel like family resulting in an experience like no other we have felt during our travels. We are still enjoying the learning we experienced during our cooking classes. We hope that one day Patrizia and Paolo will allow us to return their... more

We spent 6 days with Pat and Paola in the middle of a 5 week tour that was mainly made up of 2 night stays. We were ready this relaxed family environment. We had an amazing group of guests from other countries that made the time fun, along with our hosts. We chose to mainly do our own thing with... more

Our vacation with Paolo and Pat was just about perfect. Paolo's excursions were different and exciting. Many times we were the only tourists in some of those lovely out-of-the-way places. Our cooking lessons with Pat were great fun and most informative. Still enjoy that chocolate salami. I especially enjoyed the first view from my bedroom in the morning, It was... more

Pronto! What a pleasure it was to spend a delightful week at this beautiful hilltop Tuscan villa. Mornings were spent out and about with Paolo who took us to peaceful villages like Certaldo (medieval), Pisa (the Tower), Volterra (etruscan), and of course Florence (renaissance). It was a great to return back to the villa for an alfresco lunch (with wine)... more

We spent some days of our honeymoon with Patricia and Paolo and had a fantastic time. With all the time we spent together with them and the other guests it was really like visiting friends. The combination with day tours and cooking lessons is a perfect way to get to know Tuscany. Also the personal and professional welcoming of the... more

I have longed to visit Tuscany and through luck and providence came upon Patrizia and Paolo's website. I spent a week during November of this year (2007) learning to cook the "Tuscan Way" from the very creative and knowledgeable Patrizia. There is a sense of familia here with beautiful accommodations, countryside that is breathtaking and a most formidable guide, Paolo.... more

We spent two weeks with Patrizia and Paolo in 2004. They treated us like family; we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Patrizia shared many family recipes and tips on Italian home cooking. Shopping with her taught us how to negotiate the Italian markets. Paolo took us to some remarkable places that did not appear in guidebooks. He demonstrated his knowledge of... more

Tasty Tuscany was a wonderful experience. Staying with Patrizia and Paolo will provide you with an experience unlike most tourists have when visiting a foriegn country. They allow you to stay in their home and visit out of the way places, eat the local foods and cook authentic Italian dishes. The cooking lessons are wonderful, informal yet informative. Paolo's love... more

Where to begin? What an absolutely wonderful experience. Our time at Tasty Tuscany with Patrizia, Paolo, and our fellow guests will be a treasured memory for the rest of our lives. The totally charming farm house is beautiful, with spacious, comfortable rooms, a welcoming sitting room with leather sofas, a beautifully outfitted kitchen for our lessons, and a lovely dining... more
