We booked this hotel via the internet at the last minute not knowing anything about it and were so pleasantly surprised. Mary, Bruno and Damiano made our stay extra special with true Italian hospitality and charm. Our room was like having our own villa in Tuscany! Damiano was a gracious host who went above and beyond the norms in helping some Australians with interpreting Italian to English, giving advice of where to go, what to see and directions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend La Capanna di Sovestro to anyone wanting comfortable accomodation with all the conveniences in close proximity to San Gimignano. more
This is a lovely villa in the midst of Tuscany region. The people are very friendly and kind. The service is excellent and the room spacious and clean. The surroundings are beautiful and the town of San Gimignano is easily accessible and lovely to visit. It is really something unique to see. This accommodation is highly recommended. more
