We stayed at this lovely agriturismo for a few days in Sept 2011. We would have loved to have stayed longer but our trip was last minute & there was no other vacancy. The property is gorgeous & while our hosts, Fausto & Suzanne were in the middle of harvesting grapes, they were very friendly & accommodating. Roberta also was... More

This being our first time to Tuscany, we didn't know what to expect outside of knowing that it was probably going to be different than what we have here back in the Boston area. We had been to Italy before but never in this area. Well let me tell you, it was more than I could have ever expected as... More

If I close my eyes and think of what Tuscany should be, Guardastelle is what I would be seeing. The location is excellent. You can walk into San Gimignano if you are up for some exercise. You can make day trips easily to Florence, Sienna, and just about anywhere in the extended Tuscany area. The lodging is wonderful. You have... More

We had the most amazing time staying at Agriturismo Guardastelle last September. It is definitely at the top of most special places we have ever stayed in (and we do make an effort to find special places for our holidays!). We stayed in the Antilia apartment, which looks just as beautiful (or actually even better!) as on the photo's that... More

If you wish upon a star and are really really lucky you will find yourself in a little piece of heaven named Guardastelle pampered by angels Fuasto,Susanna and Roberta. You'll even meet angel in training Niccolo. My wife Lorri and I had long dreamed of a Tuscan vacation to celebrate our retirements. When you look at places on-line you don't... More

We so enjoyed staying at Guardastelle for a night in October. The Sibilla room, which we were staying in, was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. Fausto and Susanna and the rest of the staff were very helpful and nice people. The pool area with a view was pleasant as well as the rest of the buildings and the beautiful... More

If you want the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside with the convenience of a hilltop town on your doorstep - San Giminagno is a 20 minute walk away. It will be difficult to beat Guardastelle. You have luxurious and attractive accommodation either bed and breakfast or self catering (and you can combine them) on a wine farm run by a... More

My wife, daughter and partner spent 10 days at Guardestelle as part of a 3 week Italy tour and with out a doubt was the best part of our trip. Rome, venice and florence were all great, but Guardestelle was the highlight of our stay, and we all promised to return as it was the one place we could not... More

You know how you research a place and when you get there, it's not quite all it claimed to be? Not Guardastelle! Guardastelle went far beyond our expectations. It was a dream come true. We stayed in the Orione apartment for the last week in September, between the grape and olive harvests. Everything about the apartment, the grounds, the views,... More

Guardastelle was included in our Best of Tuscany tour out of Florence. Fausto was our guide for the tour of his vinyard and olive farm. We were blown away by the views and especially the one of San Gimignano. We are seriously considering renting the villa for our next vacation to Italy. Fausto is a wonderful host. More
