Thank you very much for your review and mentioning the basement which was opened to public in 2003. We set an exposition area on the left side of basement for all visitors to show relics of medieval pottery found during the renovation works which were given to the museum for registration.We really hope to be given them back as soon...

Did we stay in the same hotel as the other reviewers on here? First the pluses...the location inside the walls of San Gimignano which is a great spot to explore (particularly when the mass of tour buses has left). Room was large. This Hotel is in a very good location in the small town of San Gimignano. This is the second time we have stayed there and have enjoyed it both times.
