The people are friendly, the scenery is amazing, the wine and food are wonderful. It's a great place to unwind for a few days. The only downside was that our room didn't have airconditioning and it got a bit stuffy at night. more

We loved San Gimgnano at the end of the day when the day trippers had left. The countryside around San Gimgnano was spectaculor - I can see why Tuscany is loved by so many. A real "agriturismo" where you get to sit down at dinner with the people who make the wine you're drinking. It's hard to find one of these around these dyas. Do yourself a favour, and go experience Tuscany on this farm. The farmhouse is charming and the views of the vineyards and San Gimignano breathtaking. The owners are warm, loud and very Italian!
