Set in the beautiful landscape of Crete Senesi, Podere Vesta gives travellers a typical Tuscan welcome. The city of Siena is the backdrop to the wide, open spaces immersed in nature and to the panoramic swimming pool, framing the group of four buildings which host sixteen bright apartments furnished in Tuscan Arte Povera. The materials used are traditional: brick, wooden beams, and wrought iron, with great attention to colour combinations. But Podere Vesta doesn't forget the comfort of its guests: with heating and air conditioning, satellite TV with international channels, bathrooms with hydro-massage showers, kitchens complete with household appliances, utensils and crockery, beds made on arrival and all bed and kitchen linen provided. All of the apartments have a furnished outside area and two sun loungers, umbrella and deck chair by the pool. Because in Siena farm Podere Vesta is all about relaxing.

This agriturismo is amazing. Far better than expected! First, the location is stunning. The property is ont the top of a hill and you have practically a 360 view on typical Tuscany landscape. And You can see perfectly Siena which is amazing. Rooms have a typical design which provides a taste of local atmosphere and you have an external private table in a garden area. We ordered breakfast from the staff and the owner cooked delicious pies and dessert; we had fresh bread with local oil. Delicious! The swimming pool is far better than in the pictures: very big and spacious around. We used it every day. Siena is 15-20min by car so very easy to go there even for dinner in the evening. If you plan to cook there, I recommend to do your grocery before to arrive. And finishing, the staff is amazing: everyone smile, is very kind and to their best to accommodate you and make your stay enjoyable ! The only point I could find is that the WiFi is only on the common area and not in the rooms. But honestly, after a few hours adaptation, I really enjoyed to “disconnect” from my phone and enjoy the experience surrounded just by nature !!!

The resort is beautiful. The hosts are very kind. We arrived late but everything was clear how to enter the room. The resort is very well maintained the pool was always open. There were no restrictions and we felt very welcome. There is a lot of privacy because of a lot of corners and green in the garden and around the house. When you want to see the real authantic Tuscany you must stay here!

This was the perfect place for a Tuscan vacation. Close enough to Siena and easy to drive to other areas in Tuscany. We planned a couple of day trips and this location was just perfect. It is definitely quite secluded so a car is a MUST. The nearest store is also about 15 minutes away and would absolutely NOT recommend public transport here. Hotel was clean and had everything we needed. The beds and mattresses could be upgraded, it was a little hard to sleep and also walls are paper thin. There was a young couple upstairs who were very loud, we spoke to the receptionist since a couple of other guests had also complained. Croissants in the morning are a must as well. Absolutely recommend stay!

Clean apartments, well equipped, friendly people, large swimming pool with enough chairs and beds for the guests. Garden is well kept. Breakfast service available. No restaurant so you need the car if you wanna have diner. BBQ area available at the location. Staff recommend and reserved several restaurants for us. Sienna is a 15 minutes drive. Nearest supermarket 10 minutes. Visit Siena at night. Temperatures are better and atmosphere is very relax. Just a remark, I would not recommend the sofa for children older than 17. It is ok for younger kids.

Place is just about perfect getaway, relax by the pool or take a walk around the property. Close enough to Sienna when you need something or to go out for dinner. Highly recommended to getaway.

First of all, great location (but without car it might me not as fine, rent a car in Tuscany/Toscana). Big and comfortable apartments. Tenis court, pool, bikes, table tennis, barbecue, place for kids to play-awesome. Very kind owner and her family. I wasn't happy about wifi, think about widening wifi area. And why there was extra cost for heating or cleaning the place? Love the nature and the view

Except for the amazing panoramic view around the place, there isn´t much to it. The staff are friendly but rarely present. Extra pay is required for cleaning which is only done after you leave and the room is very simple. Heating is also extra pay and the free wifi is only available at the common area which is a separate building from the apartments. The acess road is 3 km of unpaved road to the nearest town.

We stayed in a detached bungalow no 16 which seemed great until we realised we had very little storage for clothes in the bedroom and ended up living out the cases mostly. On the plus side it had great views of Siena and a fantastic patio area which had colourful party lights for night time. I was attracted to book here as it stated it had a bar and I thought this would be convenient for a coffee or panini. Unfortunately this was not the case. Staff rarely at property. Using the washing machines was difficult as you need a token from a staff member (a rarity). The access road was a tricky one. Dirt track and remote. I found the caged dog at the rear of the property a sight not to be seen. Green algae water and dried penne pasta. This was found due to a walk to the play area which my girl avoided mainly due to the foliage and grass being overgrown. This was the same for our garden. Grass could have been doing with a cut. Overall ok but I would not book again as there are other properties in the area of better quality for the money paid.

The hotel needs a facelift , the communal area are tired and in need of work . The Gardner , ground keepers etc seem to concentrate on the top half of the property and the bottom section with several apartments could do with maintenance to the surrounding grounds . The grass is badly needing cut the children's play park is run down . The apartments themselves are very rustic and basic however clean on the day of arrival , no maid service for the week or clean towels . Air conditioning in apartment 13 poor . The reception was lucky to be staffed one hour per day if at all and I have yet to see the bar open . Not once was my child able to buy an ice cream . The farm road is a seven minute drive from the main road and single track . Siena about 20 minutes by car . Car 100% needed . Local supermarket 15 minute drive . Pool area clean and tidy plenty of beds etc . Pool good size , tennis court ok , needs a little attention . To sum up, reception times very poor , bar not opened , grounds need maintenance , children's play park not accessible . Car needed . No entertainment at all .

After 11 years we came back to Podere Vesta in May 2015. And we didn't remember that it was soooo beautiful at Podere Vesta! Patricia and her family are very busy in improving the experience with refurbish the rooms continousely and most important with their great amicability. We had booked 4 bilocale and 2 trilocale - each room was a beauty, had fantastic views and was really clean. ALL our friends were really happy with the location and we enjoyed the week in cosy atmosphere. Thank you Patrica, we will come back - hopefully sooner than 11 years.
