Isn't the most luxurious but the cleanliness, staff, and location make it well worth the money. The family who operates the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay there for two days. The breakfast and view from the terrace is worth the price. It is well located within walking distance to everything. I would stay here again... More

Room was average however had great views over Chiesa de San Domenico, clean & tidy with small but adequate bathroom. Centrally located, very close to the Piazza where the bus stops (took the train, then the quick bus trip). Terrace where breakfast was had beautiful views to the Duomo & down the valley to the vista that is Tuscany. The... More

Loved it here. Owners so friendly and helpful. Good location. Will return soon. If traveling by bus or train in this area, come in by bus as it is about 1/2 mile to the hotel Train station quite a ways out. Many a hill to go up if you arrive by train More

Some other reviewers called Albergo Bernini 'charming,' and I think that's a great way to describe it. Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room shared three total bathrooms with all other rooms on the floor -- brought me back to my college dorm, caddying my bathroom supplies across the hall! But there was... More

This kind of hotel exists only in Europe and it was a real blast to the past for me. So many hotels nowadays are very similar no matter where you go. When we arrived at Albergo Bernini, I felt a wave of nostalgia. I stayed in many places like this on my trips back in the 70s when I had... More

Mom and daughters who run this little gem are delightful to talk to and offer a wealth of information to make your Siena experience more enjoyable. We chose the larger room with twin beds and wonderful view. Shared bathroom with this was no problem, room does have sink & mirror. As some have mentioned the beds were not soft and... More

clean and charming, adequate breakfast with spectacular views from the terrace and sitting room and a really wonderful young woman receptionist who was most helpful. but like many places in italy, the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. two different rooms on two consecutive nights because the place was fully booked and we were late comers so juggled around a bit -... Sometimes the expectations raised by previous Tripadvisor reviews aren't always fulfilled and this place was one of them. It is in a very good location, the terrace view cannot better well it could be if some of those Americans got out of the front seats and let others sit there. The room was a bit 1950s but that had a... More

My wife and I stayed at Albergo Bernini in a double room with shared bath for three nights in October,2011. It was clean and comfortable. There was not too much competition for the three bathrooms. The best feature of the hotel is the great breakfast terrace with six or seven tables overlooking the city--the Duomo in one direction and the... More
