“very basic accomodations in a good location - great ensuite bathroom!”

After a reservations debacle with Albergo Tre Donzelle, we ended up here and the treatment at the reception desk was much more pleasant. After running out of options , the Jolly could only give us one might,stood in long line in pouring rain to be given a room for 3 nights.It was glamorous 100 years ago, but OK for what was required, we were in Siena , count your blessings ,but book well ahead next time for a stay in heaven on earth,... Albergo La Toscana, also know as Hotel La Toscana. Good location but crap hotel. Expensive. Really poor breakfast. No air conditioning. Stay away from there.
