We stayed here with a Globus tour in October. The hotel looked beautiful when you pulled up. The elevator is small, no cocktail lounge, and the food well I don't want to discuss the food. But you are in Europe and this is part of its charm (not the food there was nothing charming about the food). The bed was... More

We onlt stayed one night on a Globus Tour, but I would recommend it to anyone visiting Assisi. We loved Assisi and wanted to stay longer, but had to move on with the tour. The hotel is older but very attractive and the views of the sunset from the terrace were priceless. The staff were all friendly. More

It is the most perfectly located hotel for travelling by car or by bus to Assisi. Walking everywhere is as easy as it gets, great restaurants around the corner. All historic sites are in your window view. It is older building, but well maintained. For those who wants comfortable soft beds- stay at home, I am yet to find a... More

Unfortunately this hotel was not good, really not good. The mattress was about 3 inches think directly on the coils. The bed was really a cot with a headboard. The window opened over the very noisy kitchen area so our view was of the garbage cans. To top it off there was quite a bit of mold in the bathroom.... More

I was in this hotel only to eat dinner, so I can't comment on the accommodations. I was with a group of about 50+ people visiting Assisi just for the day, and the tour operator arranged for us to have dinner here. It included pasta, main dish, and dessert. Everyone agreed that the food was horrible, exceedingly bland. This was... More

this was a nice hotel for a single or double. My room was quaint, comfortable and relaxing. I had a balcony with a wonderful view of St Francis bell tower and the valley below. I would have liked to have stayed one extra day. The staff is friendly and the supper was good. I would reccomend this hotel and would... More

I stayed here as part of Globus Tour "Best of Italy". Interesting hotel. Balconies. Great big windows with heavy wooden shutters. What a view! Couldn't be closer to the Basilica. What's with the poor AC?? The little in-room safe not bolted to closet floor. Funny. More

It was our second stay at the Windsor Savoia and we chose it because of the great location right in front of the San Francesco basilicas. A good value. More
