We choose this agriturismo on the recommendaiton of an innkeeper in Venice, after having spent a month in Florence. We couldn't not have been happier to escape the city for a glorious, charming and welcoming place! Claudio and his staff run a large farm (grapes, olives, vegetables, animals, bees, herbs....) and carefully prepare all meals from the farm. Claudio is a delightful man who faithfully cares for the farm as his father and grandfather does, with a small staff of less than 10 others. The house is immaculate and comfortable and while everyone there has a job to do, they are always willing to meet your needs. There were fresh flowers from the garden on the tables, lavendar in the bedrooms, and water and wine always available at no extra charge. The kids rode bikes, fed farm animal, ran through the vineyard, swam in the pool, sat in the swings, and played with four adorable puppies.
