This 4 star hotel is situarted right at the bottom of the esculators going up to the old town. If you are driving, it couldn't be better as it is easy to get to and there is parking. We stayed at the Sangallo Palace for one night. While not in the old section of Perugia, it is situated conveniently close to the interesting escalator ride up into to old town. It is ideal for those people traveling by car. Our room faced the traffic circle which was noisy during the day, but didn't keep us up at night.... more
