Official Description (provided by the hotel):: The City Inn is a stylish boutique hotel, totally renovated in 2011, in a contemporary art decor. This 3 star hotel is located adjacent to the Hotel Euler, a traditional 4 star hotel; they both belong to the Manz Family. The City Inn has 30 non-smooking rooms, 8 of which are deluxe. Some rooms include separate living areas and a terrace. We kindly advise that not all of the rooms do have an elevator access. All services offered to the Hotel Euler guests are also available to the City Inn guests, for instance free WIFI internet access, Video on Demand TV and breakfast buffet. You just could not get a more centrally located hotel in Basel as the Hotel City Inn is right next to the main tram and railway station in this beautiful city. “Great location, clean and modern”

Great location near the train station and close to the old town. Room was a good size, clean and modern. Met our expectations. Only disappointment was the room wasn't ready on arrival but it was early so understandable.

“I was upgraded to Hotel Euler”

Hotel City Inn guestes are advised to check in at Hotel Euler which is located right outside Basel central station so ideal if arriving in the city by train. Upon check in, I was advised that I had been upgraded from City Inn to Hotel Euler, which was nice.
