I must say that we arrived at this hotel with low expectations due to reviews on Tripadvisor. I have been staying at the Basel Hilton on Business Trips for 10 years. The hotel is clean, extremely convenient, and the beds are really comfortable. Hotel was very convenient located for my business interest in town, very near to the Central Station also. Rooms are average sized to tiny, old furniture, a bit far from other H hotels I have been. Breakfast was not so rich,average also.Therefore I can call it Businesswise Good. But nothing special for the price they require... more

This Hilton property is an old hotel taken over by Hilton so dont expect a swanky premesis. The rooms are small and service is average. It would be worth exploring the other 5* options in the city more

Hilton Basel is frequently visited for business purposes - they definitely should upgrade theri hotel and make it more modern - rooms are OK but nothing special - good hotel for 1 or 2 nights more

I stayed here to meet with a customer in the area. The hotel has a great location right near the train station, and for those who drive it has good underground parking.
