Stayed here for 1 night w/ husband and our 2 teenaged sons. Not much personality in the hotel or the staff. Rooms were very small. Included a double bed and TV. Our boys liked that the lobby had a computer with free internet. We were charged 158 CHF (about $145.00) per room which included breakfast and made our reservations the previous day on the internet. The area surrounding the hotel is quiet and felt very safe. We walked in from the center of Bern at night without a worry - about 20 minutes. There are Co-op and Migros supermarkets very near (on Moserstraasse). The #9 tram is also available from Moserstrasse and is considered the last stop on the inner circle so it is the lowest fare. On our return stay to Bern we did not seek out this hotel, but stayed in the Alpenblick about 2 blocks away. more
