This hotel is in the same building with Novotel and Etap hotel. Ibis is the middle range among the three. The scenery from the window was excellent. Our room faced the mountain, and we could see the snows on the top of the mountain. Transportation was convenient. From Bern HBF, take a tram to Guisanplatz (yellow line on the map).... more

I've stayed several times at the hotel since it was built a couple years ago. The staff has always been outstanding--engaging and helpful. The hotel is super-clean, the shower is excellent, and there's a decent selection of TV channels if you're jet-lagged and awake at 3 am. Be aware that they have only rooms with one bed at this hotel.... more

The Ibis across the street from the Bern Expo center is a good cheap place to stay. It's housed in a tall tower built to be shared by three hotel chains and Ibis is the middle of the three. The room they gave us was fairly small, but new and clean. Everything in it was prefabricated, including the bathroom pod.... more

The Bern Ibis hotel is right beside Bern Expo and Stadium Swiss so ideal if you want to be in this area of town.
