Excellent check in staff. Rooms nice especially when upgraded to suite . Very nice chocolate sent to room as amenity. TV went on 30 minutes before wake up call so didn't appreciate getting up before I wanted to get up. Internet didn't work and couldn't get an answer regarding when it would be fixed. Very good location regarding UN and airport. But i realy do not undertanst why this expensice hotel charge you extra for iusing internett on you own compiter in your room. Also tha staff at the front desk is under staffed, so you must wait for some minutes in the line more

Although this hotel is currently under renovation and my husband and I initially had concerns about the atmosphere we might encounter, we decided to book at the Intercontinental since we would be meeting our daughter, who was on a separate travel schedule, and already booked at this hotel. 10 mins from Airport, 10 mins from town and bus/ train station. communal areas and service excellent- breakfast similarly good. However the rooms were dated and ave at best- not good for £220 per night. more
