I enjoy staying here because of the staff. They were pretty helpful. The hostel was clean and has a nice kitchen and dining area. They also have a very cute souvenir shop. Its location is near the tram so you can pretty much go anywhere. more

Geneva City hostel is clean,close to town and an EXCELLENT price for Switzerland.It had friendly staff,cheap internet access and a confy TV lounge.We also got a free transport card on arrival! not only did this save us a fortune it was valid the entire stay and included the boats trips. This was our first stop after our international flight from the US. It was early morning when we got to the hostel and they did not have a room ready for us. Close to train station. Great Vietnamese for Pho between it and the station. Small, clean, tidy rooms, you feel safe. Had a twin room, 3 of us including a 15 month old. Buy your swiss army knives here. more

we happened to spend one night in geneva, and that happened to be the day it was 36C. I would imagine that such high temperatures arent that common in Geneva as even all teh restaurants didnt seem to have airconditioning, so we were probably just unlucky, but boy woudl aircon have been nice!
