The standard of dormitory accommodation was dreadful, a corridor underground with 4 dorm rooms, ranging in size from 8 to 18 people. We stayed in dorm rooms with a group of 35 students and occupied 3 of these 4 dorm rooms. The previous year, we stayed at the youth hostel, but decided to stay further out of town this year. The dorm rooms were extremely small (the room for 18 people was about the size of a dorm for 8 people at the youth hostel), with extremely limited bathroom facilities - 4 toilets and 4 showers for 50 people. There was no space for any storage of any sort, apart from some very small lockers. The mattresses were very thin and also some were very dirty.

During the days that we were there, more young people arrived and there were insufficient beds in the dormitories for the people who were booked in, so the management decided to put two beds in the corridor - leaving hardly any room to walk by, causing probably a fire hazard.
