Overall, this hotel still gets a good rating.
Plus points: Its location is ideally situated steps away to Pont de Bergues (linking bridge to Rue de Rhone/Rue de Marche, where all the shopping can be done). In opposite direction, it is just minutes walk up to Cornavin station. This slightly quiet stretch has a nice quaint surrounding (and a Starbucks round the corner which opens on Sun too!). Small neo-classic interior, with pretty clean rooms & L'occitan toiletries!
Downside of things: The lift is indeed small, room furnishings may differ (I manage to have a decently acceptable room - featured in some other pictures), breakfast varieties are limited and expensive (~CHF28), their internet password system for guests brokedown & they have no backups. Staff are not enthusiastic/proactive in handling queries, Do not expect picturesque view as the hotel is faced in the streets.
