Stayed at the Hotel GARNI Sunnmatt earlier this year and had a great stay. From the limited research we did, it was one the best-value places in Engelberg - a gorgeous but quiet little ski-town that elsewhere can be quite expensive. Room was typical of most ski-towns but very clean & the private verandah also good. Great location (5min walk to restaurants/bars etc), breakfast a winner and staff were extremely helpful, staying up late to check us in, helping us with ski hire etc and even allowed us have showers after we had checked out. Would definitely recommend more
