Ski Lodge is a very friendly / casual place to stay as you can easily meet and discuss with fellow skiers over a drink after a day of powder. With comfortable and spacious rooms, it's was nice to brighten up with morning coffee at the restaurant listening to cool acoustic music and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding mountains and the steep skiing track from the balcony. The place is a special treat for skiers! more

The staff has great local knowledge about the mountain and are happy to share it. Great place, from the grand dinner table overlooking the ski jump to the superb breakfast with homemade breakfast marmalade. This place is really a gem. Just back from fantastic skiing in Engelberg. Waist deep powder and sun on Saturday made it one of my best skiing days ever. A young Swedish crew have created a unique combination of high standard accommodation with a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Great food and service, cool interior and good value for money. Myself, my husband and my daughte aged seven stayed here for a week in March 2008. It is so well located, just beside the train station. The owners came to meet us from the train. They are very friendly and always had time to stop for a chat and gave us plenty of advice. The breakfast was lovely every morning.... more

Ski Lodge Engelberg is a great hotel with a great location, nice rooms, friendly staff and a great chef. Just 5 minutes walk from the lifts and very close to the train station means that you never need to be worried about carrying your skis for long. Rooms have all you need, comfortable beds, international TV-stations, baclonies and nice showers.... more
