Excellent little hotel. Not complaints except, Luzern Canton has not banned indoor smoking in restaurants and bars. For some reason, the smoke from downstairs came up the stairwell and was at times very heavy. As US travellers, we have become used to nonsmoking facilities. Smoke even intruded into the room. Still would recommend hotel. Restaurant was excellent. more

Stayed here August 08. It was a bit tricky to find, and like another review, I thought it was like a hostel. The room was nice, but basic. I was expecting a lot nicer and for £150 a night I was very disappointed. Location was great, and its practically lakefront, and breakfast was good - but way too much money. more

Great location within walking distance of the train station. The shopping district and lake is a block away. The Swiss Museum of Transport is a fifteen-minute walk. There is a very good restaurant/bar on the first floor of the hotel with reasonable prices. Rooms are very modern with all amenities and there is free wireless Internet. we stayed here for two nights. The hotel is "unique" in that check in is a desk in between two restaurants. It was disconcerting at first, I thouhgt "oh jeez, we;re in a hostel."
