I required 15 mins to walk from the rail station (without stop to feed or study the swans beside the lake), upslope and some stairs before arriving at this hotel. We happened upon this delightful family-run hotel on Easter, 2009. We were given a lovely newly decorated room with a balcony...and a view of the lake and mountains. The rate was excellent and the breakfast was superb. The owner recommended a wonderful walk for us. This is the way hotels are supposed to run. more
