Hotel is well located for shops and quite near the Interlaken West train station. Unfortunately, most sightseeing trips leave from the Interlaken Ost train station which is a bus stop away. This hotel is full of group tourists and they keep the receptionist very busy until they don't have time to talk to you properly. The room i was given is at the penhouse of the new building. We visited Interlaken in September, 2007. Being doctors from India, we'd hope the city would have a neurologist on call since the room we stayed at was a hunting ground for head injuries..read: Very Low Ceiling!
