After spending nights in Zurich and Lucerne at ''moderately'' priced hotels, we were expecting more of the same mediocre accomodation in Interlaken. We had reservations here for three nights. Our plane had been delayed out of Seattle so we missed the one to Basel and got in too late to make the last train to Interlaken. We were upset about missing a day of our vacation. We emailed the hotel from the airport just to let them know not to expect us.... more

I booked this hotel on the basis of the reviews of other Trip Advisors which were all favourable at the time and I was not disappointed. The single room was actually a small double room with modern facilities including a small radio/CD player. The situation is handy to the railway station but not perhaps with the view one might hope... more

We stayed in two rooms at Krebs during August. Very nice hotel and conveniently located a few steps from Interlaken West train station. One room had a window overlooking the mountains in the back and the other had a small balcony looking over the main street, both views beautiful in their own way. Great hotel, very easy to find, no need to rent a taxi from the station. Just five minutes walk and you're there. Perfectly located. Room was slightly small but really luxurious even though didn't spend much time in it. Food was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommended. more

My friend and I stayed 4 nights at the Krebs. Our room, although small, had a tiny balcony with a view of the Jungfrau, which was wonderful.. The room had everything we needed but no airconditioning!! It was very hot when we were there and we had to open the windows which let in lots of street noise and prevented... more

Excellent location, lots of cafes and reastrants around. Rooms were clean, breakfast tasty, staff was helpful and there was no problem in communicating in english. i will come back definetly next time more

Good reception upon arrival, and the room was as expected. Large modern bathroom. Clean. The location is central and fine. 2 things to note: 1) The hotel advertises air-conditioning, but that is inaccurate. You have to open the window at night.
