Fritz might just be the hardest working guy I ever met! He was there at 8:00 a.m. serving breakfast to everyone and making sure they were having a great time. Close to the train station and easy walking distance to Tourist Info and restaurants. The owner was so friendly and helpful. They provide a room for guests with a kitchen, sofa and chairs, plus use of a washing machine and dryer for free. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with a small bathroom. Excellent accommodation for hikers and anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Fritz, the owner, is a very good resource for local activities, hikes, etc. Clearly better than any resource book I purchased (Lonely Planet, Frommer's). I will return to this hotel when I have the opportunity to visit Interlaken again. more
