Stayed at Regina during September 2011 hiking trip in Jungfrau area. Very pleased. Friendly, helpful staff. Personal service from owner. Great location. Rooms tired and in need of major renovation. Bathrooms very dated. Gloomy hotel- lights rarely on in the lounge during the day- not exactly welcoming after a day of hiking. Superb service, friendly and informative staff. The food in the hotel at dinner was particularly fantastic and the staff all helpful and attentive. There are amazing views from both dining rooms with uninterrupted views of the mountains. Just returned from Wengen. Great resort - one of the best, after a week in the Hotel Regina. The hotel is slightly faded but no bad thing, in its day it must have been wonderful.
