Well, I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the owner is a bit serious (didn't know the previous owner) but we had a great time at the Alpina. We stayed half-board which was good value for here or anywhere else at extra CHF35/ night for dinner. Serving staff were always polite and by the end were more relaxed... more

Stayed at the Hotel Alpina for 1 week at the beginning of March. This hotel was owned by Hans Ebherard who sold it to Jan Lendfers in 2007. Stayed at the hotel many times over 28 years while Hans ran the hotel. He was full of life and generous and created a wonderful happy atmosphere in the hotel and this... more
