We enjoyed our stay very much. Good rooms, great food and wellness. By the way I think it is the only 3-star hotel in Arosa with wellness. There are 2 Jacuzzis, 2 Saunas and a steambath. The childrens playroom is fantastic. The food is great. You are being served several courses, some eveninigs they have a buffet. Our room was... more

We stayed at the Astoria for a family skiing holiday - 2 adults and 2 kids , aged 6 and 7.5. We had 2 adjoining rooms with separate bathrooms. The rooms were adequate for a skiing holiday although not large - relaxation areas were available in bar, kids playroom and fitness/spa centre. We made good use of the spa after... more

We stayed in the Astoria for a week's ski holiday, taking one double room and one single room. Although we didn't know it when we booked, we were given neighbouring rooms at the end of a corridor, with a lockable outer door to make it into a kind of suite. This turned out to be a really nice feature. I... more

We planned last minute a WE in Arosa. We arrived late on Friday evening, anyway after the usual hours to serve dinner and the owner opened the kitchen just for us, so that we could have a hot meal. Therefore, excellent service, very friendly personel, perfectly clean and tidy rooms. Plus the hotel is very charming and has an excellent... more

We stayed for 5 days at the Astoria and had the most wonderful ski vacation. The owners, Edith and Oliver work hard to keep a top standard hotel and make their guests welcome , happy, at home. Oliver also connected us to the most professional, wonderful and patient ski instructor- his name is Jürgen and he speaks fluent English, French,... more

We spent five days in Jan'2009 in Arosa, and that was a wonderful holiday. The hotel is fine, and this family-driven business is REALLY very friendly. The owners, Oliver and Edith (thank you, guys, very much!) never slept and were always on duty helping the guests. Few more words about their kitchen. They serve excellent buffet breakfasts and amazing dinners;... more

I decided to stay at the Astoria based on some absolutely effusive reviews in TA. I was slightly disappointed, but wouldn't have been had my expectation not been so high. It really is a very good hotel and the owners are charming and helpful. We chose a top floor room with a view. The shower room was uncomfortably small but... more

We had a great time at the Astoria, very friendly people and very good food! The 'at least 24 different items' salad bar (more like 30 when I counted) is fantastic ... when in the mountains, I expect to not get much veggies ... but here .. yum ... the sit down dinner food is also great as were the... more

Three of us enjoyed an excellent ,high season (UK half term) skiing . The snow was perfect and the sun shone for a week without a cloud in the sky. We had plucked the Astoria out of the internet due mainly to the prompt , informative and friendly replies to our questions. The whole experience was like Swiss clockwork,:the train... more

My husband, four year old daughter, and I spent a wonderful Christmas week at the Astoria. We were greeted by name as we stepped out of our car, and the warm, personal service continued all week. At one point during the week the other family we were traveling with needed a doctor; the Astoria not only made the appointment for... more
