We had a lovely corner room with large windows overlooking this beautiful lake in St Moritz. Staff was friendly and accommodating- had an old style elevator. The included breakfast was good and it was close to the downtown area.

Just spent a night at the hotel before the start of our trip on the galcier express to zermatt. It is a three star hotel with grandeur. The Soldanella is a lovely family run hotel, which operates in an entirely different way from most St Moritz hotels: it is small, charming and staffed by helpful and friendly staff.
