Muottas Muragl is located at almost 2500 Mtrs above sealevel, with perhaps the most spectacular views in mountains that can be found worldwide. I've visited MM in summer as well as in the winter period. The facilities of the hotel are the same that can be found in a hostel. Rooms are quite simple and do not have own bathrooms.... more
We booked a double room after having looked at the hotel website. After checking in we were disappointed to find two bunker beds in the room. The Berghotel is at the top of the Muottas Muragl, a 2456 metre high mountain just outside Pontresina. It is reached by funicular railway which runs every 30mins. We went up for a visit during the day, and decided to change previous plans and stay the night at the small hotel at the top. Breathtaking views down into the valley... more
