What you get are 2 twin size beds, lamps, a table and a closet in a room. TV is in a common area. They don't provide any soap/shampoo. They claim to have a laundromat, but it is very small. There is no dryer and no place to dry your clothes. They don't change the linen on a daily basis. Linen... more

If you can stay in a dorm style room on vacation, this is for you. There are 2 twin beds and a lamp on a desk. That's it! Very depressing place. Old bathrooms, no toiletries, soap, glasses, nada!! Breakfast was sparce, with a couple of hard-boiled eggs, and when they were gone, TOO BAD. We were not happy here at... more

Pros: * Very friendly, considerate reception staff * Room rate was very affordable for St Moritz, and included simple breakfast * Within fairly short walking distance to the lake and trails Cons: * Room felt like a summer camp dorm, very musty and terribly dated decor (i.e. drapes were from the 70's, linoleum floors/counters, no top sheet only a comforter)... more

In a town full of little else but high-priced hotel rooms, Hotel Stille was very reasonably-priced and run by a very helpful friendly staff. It's a bare-bones ski lodging, in the less fancy St. Moritz Bad (vs Dorf) part of town, but only a pleasent 15min walk to the center of the action in the Dorf. At the height of... more

Nice sized room and the staff were nice as well. We stayed in the building with the blue window frame and there is a printer on the ground floor, their print press woke me up the next morning (we were on the 2nd floor which is really the 3rd). Breakfast was good, shower pressure was ok too. We wanted to... more

After a scary drive through the snow we arrived at Stille to be greeted with a warm welcome. Although we had already booked ahead we were offered a choice of rooms/ apartments (bear in mind that May is definately off-season in St Moritz and there don't seem to be many tourists there). Our apartment was spacious consisting of large fully... more

Its a good place for a family of 3 like us. We got a huge apartment for ourselves completely equipped! Its a little away from the main station and the city, but a 5-10 mins walk to the bus stand. The people there are very friendly and very helpful. Would stay again! more

This is a very nice inexpensive hotel for the St. Moritz area. The absolute best thing about this place, though, was Thomas. He said he wasn't the owner, so I don't know what title to give him other than Caretaker of the property. He was absolutely wonderful. He took his time in dealing with each person, and making that person... more

Finding affordable accommodations in St. Moritz is no easy task. The city is known as the most expensive in Switzerland. It's a popular vacation spot, and is full of hotels but none of them may be in your budget! My husband and I visited in high-season, in mid-August. I found a reasonably-priced sport hotel about 5 minutes (by car) from... more
